There are no specific restrictions as to what you can send to your penpal, as long as the content is respectful.😊
We have heard of penpals exchanging photos, stickers or postcards so feel free to include them if you would like to!
Expected commitment
We hope you can continue writing to your penpal for at least 3 months (~3-5 letter exchanges).
We will be checking in with you for the first 2 letter exchanges. At the end of the 3 months, if you are keen to continue writing, we won’t stop you!

We are currently working with ground-up initiatives, senior activity centres and social service agencies to reach interested seniors. Hence, by joining as a penpal, you will have the opportunity to write to seniors from our partners.

All penpals will be required to sign a PDPA form before we share the penpal's information. All contact information will strictly be kept confidential and only used for administrative purposes.

More information about your penpal (e.g. language preference, hobbies/interests) will be shared with you and you can start writing your first letter to them. Prompts will also be provided for your use as conversation starters if you wish.
